Multi-Cartridge Filter System for Enhanced Dirt-Holding Capacity
Pentair Clean & Clear® Plus Cartridge Filters deliver commercial-grade performance with a four-cartridge design that maximizes filtration area for increased dirt-holding capacity and longer intervals between cleanings. These filters are engineered for superior water clarity, easy maintenance, and robust durability, making them an excellent choice for pools requiring highly effective and efficient filtration.
- Exceptional Water Clarity: Four-cartridge system provides a massive filter surface area, trapping particles as small as 20 microns for sparkling clean pool water.
- Extended Cleaning Cycles: Large dirt-holding capacity means less frequent cleaning compared to single-cartridge or smaller filters.
- Easy Cartridge Maintenance: Cartridges are easily accessible and can be removed for simple rinsing with a garden hose; no backwashing is required, conserving water.
- Durable Tank Design: Constructed from chemical-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene for outstanding strength and a long service life.
- Optimized Hydraulic Flow: Engineered for balanced flow and minimal pressure drop, enhancing overall system efficiency.
- User-Friendly Access: Features a durable Tension Control™ clamp and an easy-to-remove lid for quick access to the filter cartridges.

⚠️ Safety & Compliance Notes
Filter Operates Under High Pressure:
- **CRITICAL:** Before performing any service (opening the filter, cleaning cartridges, adjusting the clamp), ALWAYS turn OFF the pool pump and relieve ALL pressure from the system by opening the filter's manual air relief valve. Wait until the pressure gauge reads zero. Failure to do so can result in the filter lid separating with violent force, causing severe injury, death, or property damage.
- Never attempt to assemble, disassemble, or adjust the filter clamp or lid while the pump is running or the system is pressurized.
- Stand clear of the filter during system start-up and shut-down.
Proper Installation and Maintenance:
- Installation and significant maintenance should be performed by a qualified pool service professional in accordance with all applicable local codes and Pentair's instructions.
- Ensure the filter clamp ring is properly seated and secured according to the owner's manual before operating. The nut must be tightened until the spring is compressed when the clamp is installed. Tap the clamp with a rubber mallet or similar tool after installation to ensure proper seating.
Electrical Safety (Related to Pool System):
- Always disconnect electrical power to the pool pump at the main circuit breaker before servicing the filter or any connected pool equipment. Ensure the circuit is locked out or tagged to prevent accidental startup.
California Proposition 65 Warning:
- This product, and components used in pool systems, may expose you to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. For more information, visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
