Important information for using NewWave® Stabilizer:

• Ideal Range: Maintain a cyanuric acid (stabilizer) level of 30-50 ppm for most chlorinated pools. Consult your pool professional or test kit guidelines for specific recommendations.
• Application: Can be added slowly through the skimmer with the pump running, or pre-dissolved in a bucket of warm water before adding to the pool. Dissolves slowly. Allow 24-48 hours for complete dissolution and circulation before re-testing.
• Testing: Test stabilizer levels regularly, especially at the beginning of the pool season or after significant water dilution (e.g., rain, backwashing, draining).
• Avoid Over-Stabilization: Excessively high stabilizer levels (e.g., over 100 ppm) can reduce chlorine effectiveness ("chlorine lock"). Partial draining and refilling may be needed to lower high levels.
• Compatibility: Primarily for use with chlorine-based sanitizers (e.g., tablets, granular chlorine, salt chlorine generators).
