• Ideal Range: Maintain a calcium hardness level typically between 200-400 ppm for most pools (plaster pools may require slightly higher levels). Consult test kit guidelines.
• Application: Pre-dissolve the required amount in a bucket of pool water before adding to the pool to ensure even distribution and prevent clouding. Add slowly to the deepest part of the pool with the pump running.
• Testing: Test calcium hardness levels regularly, especially after refilling or significant water addition, and adjust as needed.
• Gradual Addition: Add in increments, allowing water to circulate and re-testing before making further additions if a large adjustment is needed.
